# Split one payment across several jobs

> Apply one payment to several outstanding jobs while keeping each job balance accurate.

## Planned topics

* Select the jobs and review which are eligible to receive part of the payment.
* Identify who is paying, including someone paying for another client.
* Review the suggested allocation and change individual amounts while keeping the total matched.
* Choose between recording money already received and charging one card when available.
* Explain that each job gets its own portion and that a later refund applies to the selected portion.
