# Scan parts into and out of a location

> Use QR tags to keep recorded locations up to date as items move.

## Planned topics

* Open the location and select the supported scan-in or scan-out action.
* Allow camera access and distinguish a part tag from a destination location tag.
* Check the scan result and the part’s recorded location.
* Use continuous scanning for several parts, review successes and failures, and stop the session.
* Handle a Combine Parts prompt when a location is configured for it.
