# Collect a client signature

> Have a client sign in person or send them the link to complete their requirements.

* Open collection requirements and review what is still needed for the job.
* Choose in-person signing or email/SMS delivery of the collection link.
* Explain that the same workflow may also request an initial payment and saved payment method.
* Confirm signature completion and find the signed contract for viewing or PDF access.
* Explain what remains outstanding when a signature alone does not activate a payment plan.
